Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
• Manage contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure efficient procurement processes.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize stock levels.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand purchasing needs and requirements.
• Process purchase orders efficiently and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Resolve purchasing issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Stay informed about market trends and industry developments to make informed decisions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Procurement Purchasing Specialist or similar role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and purchasing software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management principles.
• Experience in with Pronto software would be advantageous.
